What I’m Reading: Joy

I stumbled upon Joy, quite by accident the other day. I was browsing the shelves of Swoozies, one of my favorite little shops in Peachtree Corners, and there it was… Joy, the book. This little jewel, a collection of quotes, gave me a fresh perspective about how to look at joy…how to embrace it…how to share it…Here are a few thoughts from the author, M.H. Clark, about why it was compiled…

“It’s been said that the days are long but the years are short. We fill our days with obligations and appointments, and reserve joy for special occasions, holidays, weekends, and stolen moments”…
PrepareforJoyPhoto2resized“If we want joy to be the story of our years, joy must be the story of our days.”…
BeginJoyBookPhoto3resized“Joy must be a daily choice, a habit, a promise we make to ourselves.”…
LiveJoyBookPhoto4resized“Joy must be the way we travel.”…
ShareJoyBookPhoto5resized“So give yourself the gift of joy, and pass it on to others. If you make room for joy in your heart and in your day, you’ll find that joy is a magnet for more joy.” I hope that a peek inside this book inspires you!  I am giving my copy away to share a little joy. Go to ShutterJoyLady on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Shutterjoylady?ref=hl and ”share” for a chance to win this book in a drawing. And if you win, be sure to pass it on to someone else… –Jan
